Steps to Paint Kitchen Cabinets Unpeeled:
1. Make a sketch of the kitchen cabinets, then identify each door and drawer with a number.

3. Use a cordless drill to unscrew all cabinet doors.
4. Unscrew and remove the hinges from the door.
5. Remove all drawers from the cabinets.
6. Use a putty knife to scrape any rubber bumpers on the back of the doors.
7. Unroll the tape from one of the doors, then wipe the surface with a moistened scouring pad with deglosser. (If doors or face frames have a coating of greasy and oily residue, wash with hot water and soap before shredding.)
8. Clean the door with a cotton cloth dampened with clean water.
9. Dry the door with a clean, dry cotton cloth and then knock the door over.
10. Repeat the previous two steps to unscrew the back surface of the door.
11. Cover the appliances and counters with a cloth lined plastic cloth.
12. Use a scouring pad and rub the lipgloss surfaces framing the face in the top and bottom cabinets.
13. Wash face frames with a cloth dampened with water, then wipe dry frames.
14. Wait one hour before continuing.
15. Remove all sides of the drawer, then unbind and wash each.
16. Protect the wall around the cabinets and all other adjacent surfaces with tape.
17. Use a synthetic bristle brush 2 inches wide to apply the first coat of bond to all cabinet doors, drawers and frames the face.
18. Allow the first layer of adhesive to dry for 2 hours.
19. Turn the door over and apply a layer of adhesive on its back surfaces. Wait two hours.
20. Repeat the above three steps to apply a second bonding coat on both sides of each door and drawer faces and frames the face.
21. Brush the top protective layer of polyurethane on all surfaces of the doors, drawers and frames of the face. The top layer to dry for 12 hours.
22. Screw the hinges back to the door, and then mount the cabinet doors.
23. Install the door drives.
24. Replace the drawer sides and replace the drawers in the cabinets.
